damaged lines

damaged-lines

This was written as I stared at my hands continuously pondering on the past they’ve had.  The winter weather here in Utah hasn’t helped any, but old memories continue to arise but I know that I’m grateful for where I am now.  36years strong!!!

Faded joints,
Shaded points,
Crusted creases anoint.
Barren palm,
one must calm,
its ceasing qualm.
Connected as one,
reaching undone,
Fist raised has begun.
